I’ve wanted to get this post out for weeks, but my IC flare (which I am still dealing with) got in the way.
If I’m being honest, I’ve wanted to write this post (or something like it) for years. So here goes…
The best way I know how to talk about this is through a poem-ish set of words, with accompanying digital art:
In summary, I believe humanity is beautiful, beloved, magic, and worthy—made in the image of God and connected by divine love. There should be space and safety for all of us. Today, I think especially of the trans community, even as I share publicly for the first time about my bi identity.
If you want to learn more about how to support LGBTQ+ people (especially from a religious/spiritual perspective): while there are so many voices and resources I could recommend, two voices that were helpful to me on my own journey are @travelingnun (for a more traditional but still inclusive perspective) and @thekevingarcia (for a less traditional but still inclusive perspective).
Take care of yourself today, friends. You are enough. Hold space for yourself and each other. You are held in love.
In Wonder,

Simply stunning and so needed. You, too, dear heart, are held in love (and in prayer for relief from this flare).
